Since our establishment in 1955, we have been selling electric wires and processed wire products for various consumer electronics products such as speakers, PCs, and smart phones. Currently, we supply a variety of electronic materials to manufacturers in Japan and overseas, focusing on materials for smartphone camera actuators. In addition, in 2013, as a new business, we started manufacturing and selling MS Filter, a liquid filtration device based on wire winding technology. The MS Filter, which enables automation of the filtration process during liquid processing, is suitable for labor saving in manufacturing processes in the food and chemical fields, and we are accelerating the expansion of sales overseas.
Today, we are surrounded by a variety of technologies in our daily lives: the Internet, which became popular in the late 1990s, is now an integral part of our lives, and smartphones have evolved into devices with not only calling capabilities but also many other functions such as gaming, social media, and electronic payments. The next decade will see the emergence of AI and virtualization. As such it is expected to bring technological innovations related to AI and virtual reality, moving us toward a future in which offline and online will merge.
Japanese manufacturing, which we have been involved in, has gone through a period of rapid economic growth and still has strengths in the fields of automobiles, electronic components, medical equipment, and semiconductor equipment, and high-quality Japanese products are highly regarded around the world. However, looking at the international community as a whole, excessive globalization has created distortions and highlighted the major issue of climate change, and there is now a demand for new manufacturing that is suitable for the global environment while utilizing cutting-edge technology. Our mission is to create “new harmony” in the international community with the wisdom and technology of manufacturing that Japan has cultivated, while continuing to adapt to the changes of the times, and we will continue to develop the next market beyond the boundaries of trading companies and manufacturers.
